Consumer Claims Tribunal

Yam Soon Huat had bought a pair of shoes costing RM850 in the hope that it would relieve his backache. However, after using it less than 10 times, he was dismayed to find that the soft rubber soles of his Swiss-made footwear had begun to disintegrate. The biscuit manufacturer from Sitiawan took his complaint to the Consumer Claims Tribunal, which awarded him RM750 yesterday. In his claims, Yam had alleged that the soles of the shoes he bought in January last year had disintegrated because they could not withstand Malaysia’s hot and humid weather.

Anyone who has things to complain??? Please do not hesitate to contact the Consumer Claims Tribunal.
