SRK SMI

Ops, forgot to mention, SMI stands for St. Michael Institution.

Previously it had two primary school joined together, SMI 1 and SMI 2.
Each have their own management style. Different head master, teachers and of course student as well. It means each have their own students from Standard 1 to Standard 6.

For the first half of the year, SMI 1 would be having the morning session while SMI 2 will be having the afternoon session. For the second half of the year, both school will swap session.

Finally after dunno how decades of planning for the new primary block, they have a new building now!!

Old Primary Block.

This is the standard 1 classrooms.

Down the hallway is the school's office.

NEW PRIMARY BLOCK

Wow !! It looks so much nicer than the old primary school.

The new primary school is located just behind the canteen, I wonder what happen to the secondary's KH block. Demolished?? The single story building on the left was the old primary block.

The old primary block is now being used as classrooms for Form One students to the bigger-sized Form Four and Form Five students. They are generally enduring the crampy classrooms, toilets, corridors and doors made for kids. The main building of the Secondary SMI building is under renovations.

Stay tune...
